Dates and Talent Line-Up Announced for 7th Annual Gospel Music Fan Festival and Talent Contest

Festival Expands to Five Days

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Deon and Susan Unthank, owners and editors of SouthernGospelNews.com, are proud to announce the dates and artists for the 7th Annual Gospel Music Fan Festival. The annual festival is set for July 25-July 29, 2005.

This year, the Festival will be expanding to five nights due to the demand of artists and fans. A Tuesday evening concert has been added.

“Each year the number of artists that want to be a part of Festival just grows and grows,” said Deon Unthank of SouthernGospelNews.com. “We had to expand the Festival to five nights in order to fit everyone in this year.”

This year’s Fan Festival will include performances from the Crabb Family, Karen Peck & New River, the Kingsmen, Dove Brothers Quartet, Joyce Martin, the Ruppes, LordSong, CrossWay, the Anchormen, Mike Bowling Group, Three Bridges, the Imperials, the Lesters, Hope’s Call, Johnny Minick and friends, First Love, HisSong, Daryl Williams Trio, Rejoice!, the Dills, Mercy’s Well, Jonathan White, the Browns, Young Harmony, John Lanier, and host group Sunday Edition.

As in years past, this year’s convention will remain free to the public. A love offering will be taken each night.

The inclusion of the Saturday morning talent contest will remain a part of the Festival. The talent contest will take part during the morning hours and features judges whom are prominent in the Southern Gospel industry. More information on the talent contest will be forthcoming.

Additional artists will be added at a later date as some confirmations have yet to be received.

“Like year’s past, we have sought out not only top tier groups, but also those that are extremely talented and on their way up to perform on our convention,” said Deon Unthank. “This year, more than any other, we feel like we have met that objective.”

The 7th Annual Gospel Music Fan Festival and Talent Contest will be held at River of Life Assembly of God, Smyrna, Tennessee.

Artist listing is subject to change.

A complete artist listing and talent lineup for each night of the Festival will be posted soon at the Gospel Music Fan Festival’s official home on the web at http://gospelmusicfanfestival.com. Check back often to see major updates to the schedule.
